Follow Your Own Growth

What’s a personal mantra or philosophy you live by?

I have heard many, none of them helped. Just have good morals, and that will bring you back from the worst situations.

Knowing that I could always be myself, that I am a good person without questioning my morals. The confusion is when there are questions about our identity, and it is common to question that. Who am I? Each time, there is a different answer, making it easier to cling to a mantra or philosophy. But for how long, until it does not work for you? Then what?

That is why childhood is so important. I am still mending what was broken when I was a child. You have to face it. I remind myself how far I am from who I want to be.

The first time I did that, I cried. The second time I did that, I decided to work on myself. The third time, I saw a lot of difference in how much I had changed those aspects that needed to change for me to be where I want to be.

It is not easy to trust others, and it is harder to trust yourself, but with positive self-talk and knowing you will get through anything with time and patience, we can only hope the universe will take care of the rest.
