Why Am I Writing Without Distraction Of Music?
To write without music
is like looking within to find the poem
that lies beyond what I know.
To know, what I have yet to know,
sounds funny if you say it again and again.
How could I possibly share
what I do not know?,
How could I get there without
distraction of music?
And then I saw
how time goes fast when we are distracted
and when we look at the clock all time stands still. Is this what my poem sounds like,
like I have just paused a really
good song.
Note: I always wrote poems with blasting music in my ears. I knew why I did that, I love a good distraction. I am changing different habits in my life. To not to listen and write. But to write without feeling, is also okay. I do not need to feel big emotions to write anything, especially a poem.
