Consistency Combats Mood

Why should our mood not affect our work ?

If we rely on our mood to direct our productivity, we are in the trenches, not wanting to even move.

Most days, I’d rather just write and not do anything else. But some days, I am so excited to work that writing feels like too much.

That is why having hobbies that leave you feeling empty if you do not practise them every day is important, because your hobbies remain consistent regardless of your mood.

I just know that, regardless of my mood, I will get the work done. I do not have to be at a hundred per cent to exist in society. I can be at 75% and still do a great job.
