This Story – The One and The Other

This story started long before they met each other. They grew up in different parts of the same world. Even, they would not have believed if someone would have told them, “You will meet on this day, at this time.” They would have laughed at how absurd This Story sounded. They became what they wanted to be, in different area codes of the same world.

One person, did only two selfish things.

The One person in this story moved oceans, borders and beautiful skies, not for the Other person in this story.

But for One person’s own self. This was, One person’s first selfish thing. This one person did for One’s own peace.

In this story there was no compassion or no passion, no hugs or no kisses, they did not even say they cared about One or the Other.

Sabotage

One person’s self-sabotage because the Other person looked in the One person’s soul. The One cared without asking, the Other knew what was needed without One telling.

Caring with loving words is beautiful, Caring with being present is Divine. Passion from the Other person, blinding and foreign, for One person.

Something the One person has never seen, let alone felt.

Screaming in One person’s heart to Other person, “Do not look at me like you see me.”

Other person’s presence was enough to create a symphony by butterflies in One person’s own belly. One person crawled in the bed refusing to leave sabotage behind.

The Other person moving with actions without any words, this treatment, One person felt undeserving of. This One made excuses, clouding every answer to every question.

In This Story you wish there was Forever After.

Was just another lesson for both One person and Other person.

The second selfish thing had to be when this One person walked away from the Other person, proving sometimes soulmates are not for forever. Love in this story was not always proportional to respect, disrespect was not given a chance of getting used to.

You see love stories, do not always have to end, happy or sad. They also end with a full stop and never to be reopened, written on the Cover.
