Calm In The Present

Calm In The Present

This heart needs its calmness to beat the same way, every day, just like today. It needs everything to fall into place, to complete its puzzle. Eyes closed, to see what’s beyond this horizon, from where the eyes can’t fathom.

To the present, to make sense, the best is yet to come, to keep the tables turning, at the second I am living. Nearly there, at the end of new beginnings, at the realization of something beyond what was real.

The reality of yesterday, not the same for today, at this present, our second difference for ours and mine. Not looking for the face, your face, in any crowd. Coward, who thought, I will get over this one, with time.

Consciously, walked away, looked away, and said ‘no’, to leave a bad dream, behind. Subconsciously, I looked away, for time to heal. With time, for the subconscious mind to, follow. Changing, my emotions, not the music as I walk, the same paths.

Changing, the way I feel, not the same paths I take. Not upset, over who said what, anymore. I came through for me, this time, on this familiar path, with the same old music.
